a little catching up to do
i was waiting for my sister on the corner of york avenue and 70th street, happily eating what turned out to be my only meal of the day -- a very unhealthy chicken sandwich with a bottle of orangina, whilst sitting in front of the jay monahan center for gastrointestinal health (the universe likes irony when it comes to me) -- when this gentleman decided to lie back on a bench and catch up on some reading before dusk settled in. he lay there for a good few moments, enough time for me to finish my meal and sketch him.
i think my line here leaves much to be desired. a few days' neglect of drawing makes the bones of my fingers rusty.
